Dr. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, honored the male and female students who won the Ibdaa,’START’ Forum in its fifth edition for faculties of specific education, which was hosted by Benha University with the participation of 350 male and female students representing 10 universities, in the presence of Dr. Lamia Abu Zeid, Dean of the faculty, and Dr. Naglaa Abdel Ghaffar Mohamed, lecturer of curricula and teaching methods at faculty of Education, the head of the delegation, Dr. Hani Al-Samman, media lecturer at faculty of Arts and the delegation’s supervisor, took place in the University Council Hall in the old headquarters.
Al-Numani expressed his pride with the students of the university who represented it honorably and achieved a number of advanced positions, as the students were able to win first place in the fields of drawing, knitting, and solo playing.
He praised the students’ talents and skills, which the university is keen to nurture and develop, adding that the forum has achieved its most important goals, which is to create a spirit of Brotherhood, competition, communication and sharing of cultures among students of faculties of specific education from various Egyptian universities.
Dr. Lamia Abu Zeid indicated that the university president celebrated with the students, where he listened to some distinguished sections of the students’ performances, such as playing the qanun, playing the flute, and solo singing.
The students also reviewed the artworks that won distinguished positions in the forum, including ceramics, sculpture, knitting, crochet, and textile printing and fashion design, calling the students to continue developing, developing and refining their talents.
