Sector Services
The community service and environmental development sector provides many services and activities, which are evident in the following:
Holding environmental awareness seminars
Participation in a symposium on nuclear energy in Egypt.
Participation in a symposium entitled “Contemporary Issues in Nutrition in the Arab World.”
Organizing workshops and training courses
A workshop on the consequences of learning for the beneficiaries of the college graduates, including factory managers and owners of governmental and civil businesses.
A workshop on question items for the university’s assessment and examination systems project and the publication of the exam paper specifications schedule.
Organizing field visits
A visit to the oil hydrogenation company in Sohag.
A visit to the electricity company in Sohag.
A visit to the Water and Sanitation Company
The visit of the students of the third year, the Department of Electricity and Power, to the steam power plant in Assiut.
Preparing a form for students’ attitudes towards aspects of the service provided by the library to college students, its type and efficiency, and what is required to raise its efficiency, which was prepared by the Prof.
Opinion surveys and trends measurement activities
Preparing a student skill statement form by Dr. Fatima Othman Muhammad to select students with skills to train their colleagues on life skills.
