The Ninth Conference of Young Researchers at Sohag University recommends Directing Scientific Research within the Framework of Egypt 2030 Initiative Supporting talented People in the Fields of Creativity and Innovation

The activities of the ninth scientific conference for young researchers at Sohag University were concluded in the presence of Prof. Hassan Al-Nomany, President of the University, Dr. Shawqi Allam, Mufti of Egypt, Dr. Tariq Saada, Head of the Media Syndicate, prof Abdel Nasser Yassin, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and prof. Khaled Omran, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs. Prof. Ahmed Hassanein, Chairman of the Scientific Committee, Prof. Sabah Saber, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, and a number of staff members and young researchers at the International Conference Center at the New University headquarters.

At the beginning of his speech, Dr. Hassan Al-Noamani expressed his happiness at hosting the conference with a group of Egyptian figures, congratulating the young researchers and the organizing committee on the success of this conference, appreciating the research presented by the young researchers that contributed to the development of the scientific research movement aimed at addressing contemporary issues of interest to researchers and those interested and also the participation of young innovators, university students, and pre-university education students with their research ideas, inventions, and creativity that contributed to enriching the conference.

Al-Noamany announced the most important recommendations, which included the recommendation to direct scientific research within the framework of Egypt 2030 Initiative and the directives of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the Republic, towards promoting higher education and scientific research, and supporting gifted people of determination who are “differently capable,” in addition to providing research requirements, rationalizing water and energy consumption, renewable energy, and providing research requirements for important economic crops.

The conference also recommended directing towards research on microbial and endemic diseases, paying attention to research on the production of local pharmaceutical preparations, and providing research supplies for information and communications technology and biotechnology research.
