Dr. Hassan Al-Noamany, President of Sohag University, announced the names of the students who won the first three positions in the bodybuilding championship, which was organized by the Sports Activity Department of the General Administration of Central Youth Welfare.
Alnomany witnessed the conclusion of the competition in which more than 75 students from various faculties participated, in weights from 60 kilograms to 100 kilograms.
Dr. Hassan Al-Nomany, President of the University, congratulated the students who won the bodybuilding championship, which is one of the distinctive sports based on physical fitness, muscle flexibility, and the ability to show muscle mass, body divisions, and coordination in a professional manner, stressing the university administration’s keenness to organize these various championships that are commensurate with the students’ skills and abilities.
It contributes to encouraging them to practice sports and developing their talents to choose the best elements to participate in national tournaments.
Dr. Abdel Nasser Yassin, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, added that the tournament was held in cooperation with the Sohag Bodybuilding Region, thanking them for the good cooperation and fair judging of the tournament, noting that the results of the tournament in the weights (100 kilograms) resulted in the victory of both the student Mustafa Hilali at Faculty of Physical Education.
In the weight of (95 kilograms), the student Mustafa Assem won in the Faculty of Law, and in the weight of (90 kilograms), the student Muhammad Khaled won in Faculty of Physical Education.
Dr. Mohamed Kamal, General Coordinator of Student Activities, said that the results of the competition in the weight (85 kilograms) announced the victory of the student Moaz Ibrahim in faculty of Agriculture.
As for the winners in the weights (80 kilograms), the student Mohamed Abdel Ghaffar in the faculty of Technology and Education got the first opposition, and the student Mohamed Mahmoud in faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence got second place.
Dr. Ahmed Atef, Director of the Central Youth Welfare Department, added that the jury also announced the winners in the weights (75 kilograms), where the first position was won by the student Stephen Arness from faculty of Commerce, and the second position was won by the student Ahmed Abdullah from faculty of Commerce, and in the weights (70 kilograms), the first position was won by the student Saif Salah from faculty of Law, and the second position the student Moaz Muhammad in faculty of Commerce.
