Dr. Hassan El-Nomany, President of Sohag University, attended the discussion of the master’s thesis submitted to Faculty of Arts under the title “Request Styles in the Poetry of Fuladh Abdullah Al-Anwar – A Rhetorical Study”, which was presented by the researcher enrolled in Arabic Department at Faculty of Arts , Alzaeem Nasr El-Din Abdel Rahim Mahmoud, from “Al-Azhar Al-Sharif”.
The discussion was held in the glass celebration hall in the old campus, in the presence of Dr. Abdel Nasser Yassin, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Khaled Omran, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.
Dr. Ahmed Hamady, President of the World Organization of Al-Azhar Graduates in Sohag and former President of the Sohag Al-Azhar Region, along with a group of deans of faculties and staff members from Faculty of Arts.
Al-Nomany welcomed the researcher and emphasized on the university’s pride in its academic collaboration with prestigious academic institutions.
He also emphasized Sohag University’s commitment to supporting scientific research and nurturing young researchers, noting that such dissertations represent a true contribution to literary and cultural knowledge and reflect excellence in the field of rhetorical and critical studies.
The discussion and judging committee included Dr. Farid Abdel-Zaher Saeed, Professor of Literature and Criticism and former Dean of the Faculties of Languages and Dar Al-Ulum at Aswan University, as examiner and chairman, and Dr. Hanaa Abdeen Abdullah, Professor of Rhetoric and Criticism, Department of Arabic, Faculty of Arts, Sohag University.
As a discussant, Dr. Bahaa Mohamed Mohamed Othman, Professor of Rhetoric and Criticism, Head of the Department of Arabic Language and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Arts for Environmental Affairs and Community Service, as supervisor and discussant, and Dr. Amna Mohamed Fathallah, Lecturer of Rhetoric and Criticism in the Department of Arabic, Faculty of Arts, Sohag University, as supervisor.
