Dr. Hassan El-Nomany, President of Sohag University, announced the launch of the university’s third international environmental conference, titled “Green Transformation and Environmental Artificial Intelligence Applications,” on Monday dated April 14, at the International Conference Center in the new campus.
Dr. Khaled Omran, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, said that the conference will discuss several important topics, including artificial intelligence for achieving environmental sustainability, artificial intelligence and environmental monitoring using satellites, environmental innovation in smart cities and the green transition, and the role of educational and sports institutions in light of artificial intelligence environmental applications.
Dr. Sabah Saber Mohammed, the conference rapporteur, added that the conference will discuss a number of research papers and public lectures and will include:
Four sessions to discuss research papers in the fields of basic sciences, medical sciences, humanities, engineering sciences, computers, and artificial intelligence, in addition to student research.
