Under the patronage of Prof Hassan Alnomani, president of Sohag University Sohag University organized a symposium entitled “The Current Situation and Challenges Facing Egypt,” which was attended by the journalist and media writer Mustafa Bakri, editor-in-chief of “Al-Osboa” newspaper, and member of the House of Representatives, in the presence of Prof. Abdel Nasser Yassin and Prof. Khaled Omran, vice presidents of the university, and the accountant Ashraf El-Qadi Amin, University secretary general of the, deans of faculties, a number of staff members and students, in the international conference hall in the new headquarters of the university.
Bakri also spoke about the challenges facing the Egyptian state, warning against involving in to toxic news and malicious rumors spread by conspirators and traitors with the aim of overthrowing the institutions of the Egyptian state, and the necessity of confronting them with awareness and knowledge
He also praised achievements which Sohag University witnesses in its all sectors.
