Sohag University President participates in the First Meeting of the Supreme Council of Private Universities

Dr. Hassan Al-Noamany, President of Sohag University, participated in the first meeting of the Supreme Council of Private Universities, headed by Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the secretariat of Dr. Maher Mesbah, Secretary-General of the Council, in the presence of Dr. Mustafa Refaat, Secretary of the Supreme Council of Universities, and Dr. Abdel-Wahab Ezzat, Secretary of the Supreme Council of Private Universities, some heads of the boards of trustees of private universities, presidents of private universities, and members of the council.

Council members congratulated Dr. Hassan Al-Noamany for his participation in the first meeting of the Council.

Al-Noamani also thanked Dr. Ayman Ashour for his trust in choosing him as a member of the Supreme Council of Private Universities, praising the minister’s support and approval for the establishment of Sohag Private University and the completion of its basic components until the end of the transitional phase of establishment.

Al-Noamani pointed out that the establishment of Sohag National University comes within the framework of the political leadership’s directions to provide a role model in the field of higher education, stressing that its presence represents a necessity to accommodate the increase in demand for university education in the governorates of Upper Egypt, stressing that all human capabilities will be harnessed.
