Dr. Hassan El-Nomany, President of Sohag University, recently received Mr. Mohamed Zaim El-Khalis Nasution, Deputy Ambassador of Indonesia to the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The visit comes as part of the university’s hosting of the Indonesian Cultural Day, organized by the university’s International Relations Center.
Al-Nomany emphasized that the bonds of joint cooperation between Egypt and Indonesia date back to ancient times.
He pointed out that there are many bilateral relations that contribute to strengthening cultural exchange between the university and Indonesia in various fields.
He thanked Mr. Mohamed Al-Zaim for his keenness to visit the university as part of the Indonesian Cultural Day activities.
The event, organized by the university, aims to enrich students’ knowledge and enhance communication and interaction with other cultures and civilizations. Mr. Mohammed Zaim expressed his gratitude to Dr. Hassan Al-Nomany for the warm welcome and generous hospitality, emphasizing the importance of joint cooperation between the two countries and the depth of the relations that unite them.
He also noted the possibility of further cooperation with the university in various fields.
