Dr. Hassan Al-Nomany, President of Sohag University, opened “Ramadan is coming Festival,” organized by the Center of Handicrafts and Environmental Industries, in order to support small projects and provide the needs of the university employees for Ramadan products and food commodities, in the presence of both Dr. Abdel Nasser Yassin, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Khaled Omran, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs. Dr. Reham Mohamed, director of the center, deans of the faculties, staff members, employees and students of the university, in the old campus.
Dr. Hassan Al-Nomany said that the university always seeks to provide more services to its employees, based on its service and community role, by providing strategic products and goods, and contributing to alleviating the burdens on them, stressing that the exhibition comes within the framework of the university’s support for the efforts of the Egyptian state, and the provision of food commodities at reasonable prices, especially with the approaching month of Ramadan.
Al-Numany conducted a tour during which he inspected the exhibition’s contents, praising the quality of the food and other materials and commodities on display, which came in line with the state’s trends in reducing the burdens on citizens, especially with the approaching month of Ramadan, which is witnessing an increase in consumption goods.
Dr. Khaled Omran added that the exhibition was part of a series of services provided by the university to support its employees and enhance its role in serving the community, praising the efforts of those in charge of preparing for the exhibition and ensuring the provision of a variety of products at prices lower than their counterparts in the markets.
