A Delegation from Sohag University is hosted by Faculty of Air Force, and Al-Nomany praises the Material and Human Capabilities to Graduate Air Eagles

The Air faculty received a student delegation from Sohag University, headed by Dr. Hassan Al-Nomany, President of the University, as part of the field visits organized by the Armed Forces, represented by the leadership of the Popular and Military Defense Forces, in cooperation with the University.

In implementation of the directives of President Sisi and the Ministry of Higher Education to organize field visits to national institutions across the country, to enhance the spirit of loyalty and belonging among students to preserve Egypt’s present and future,

The attendance of Dr. Abdel Nasser Youssef, Vice President of the University, Major Ahmed Safwat, Director of the University’s Military Education Department, and a number of faculty deans, staff, and students.

Al-Nomany expressed his gratitude and thanks to Major General Ahmed Sabry El-Shazly, Director of the Air faculty, who welcomed the university delegation and gave the students the opportunity to see one of Egypt’s most important military institutions and to familiarize them with the unconventional role played by its heroes in protecting and securing the country’s borders in all strategic directions.

During the visit, Al-Nomany praised the national role played by the Air Force fighters throughout the past period, including unconventional missions to eradicate the roots of extremism and terrorism in Sinai.

The students expressed their great admiration for what they saw during the visit, which was a source of pride. It began with a documentary film about the Air faculty and its establishment, followed by an inspection of the academic building and the Air faculty’s teaching wings, including the airport where the students are trained.

The historical halls, aircraft simulation models, educational rooms, navigation and air control, and inspection of the exhibition of medals, decorations and shields, and the aircraft ground exhibition, which includes a variety of models of fighter aircraft.

During the visit, the delegation listened to an explanation of the combat capabilities and technical specifications of each model. At the end of the visit, the delegation had lunch with the college students.
