Dr. Hassan El-Nomany, President of Sohag University, and Brigadier General Nader Nabil, the governorate’s military advisor, recently inspected the national education courses for first-year female students, which are organized by the university’s Military Education Department, in implementation of the cooperation protocol concluded between the leadership of the Popular and Military Defense Forces and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, with the aim of developing national education curricula
to deepen the spirit of loyalty and belonging among the students, he was accompanied by Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Safwat, Director of the Military Education Department at the University, Major General Tariq Hafez, Director of University Security, and Dr. Ahmed Atef, Director of the Central Youth Care Department.
Al-Nomany began his speech by expressing his gratitude and appreciation to the Popular Defense Forces and the Military for their fruitful cooperation in implementing these important courses, which are being implemented for the first time at Sohag University.
These courses represent part of the national strategy aimed at developing positive national role models among female students who can contribute to building the future, in addition to familiarizing them with the magnitude of the challenges facing the Egyptian state, promoting social responsibility, and teaching the foundations of good citizenship.
Al-Nomany expressed his thanks and appreciation to Dean Nader Nabil for his keenness to have the students participate and inspect their lectures, urging the students to make the most of these training programs, which represent a mandatory part of the curriculum for the first-year students in all faculties, and include integrated programs of scientific lectures, dialogue, and training.
It focuses on teaching life basics such as discipline, organization, and teamwork, in addition to enhancing students’ understanding of the importance of defending the homeland and the role of the armed forces in protecting the country.
Brigadier General Nader Nabil delivered a lecture titled “Building Human Beings and Raising Awareness.” after the lecture, he listened to the students’ opinions and questions about the training program, praising the level of discipline and commitment, which demonstrates the awareness of Egyptian girls and their important and positive role in achieving further accomplishments across the country.
