Dr. Hassan El-Nomany, President of Sohag University, signed six contracts to sponsor innovators with a number of young people with innovative projects and ideas.
This comes within the framework of the university’s keenness to care for the students and innovative youth through the services provided by the Taiko offices, and the support and care they provide to talented and brilliant students,
In the implementation of the directives of the political leadership and the Sustainable Innovation Initiative launched by the Ministry of Higher Education, which calls for spreading educational awareness about the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship, identifying innovative youth, and helping them transform their ideas into viable products and services.
The university president explained that the university’s Taiko offices support innovators by welcoming them, developing their innovations, and manufacturing prototypes.
They also register innovations with the Egyptian Patent Office to guarantee innovators’ intellectual property rights.
They also work to implement innovations on the ground to maximize their benefits.
