Prof. Hassan Al-Noamani, President of Sohag University, headed the University Council meeting for September 2023 in the presence of Prof. Abdel Nasser Yassin, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Khaled Omran, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, the accountant Ashraf Al-Qadi, Secretary-General of the University, and the deans of the colleges.
Adding that Faculty of Graduate Studies and Environmental Research added to the university’s faculties based on the approval of the Council of Ministers
Al-Nomani added that the Council also approved the Faculty of Agriculture’s proposal to establish the Sohag University Journal of Economic and Social Sciences,
He also approved on the work plan of the Center of the Students with disabilities, and approved holding the annual conference of Department of Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery in Hurghada, agreeing to hold the third international environmental conference under the title “Environmental Investment and Community Security in Light of Egypt’s Vision 2023,” in next April 2024.
