Enrollment conditions

Required for student enrollment in postgraduate diplomas

It enrolls all students who have a bachelor’s degree in industrial education from Egyptian universities or its equivalent by the Supreme Council of Universities.

The student obtains a postgraduate diploma if he passes the postgraduate diploma courses whose number of hours is 30 credit, and the average grade points for those courses are not less than C+.

The relevant department council may approve that the student study and pass some of the undergraduate courses (fourth level) and these are not counted within the number of credit hours.

Minimum of four major semesters for a Postgraduate Diploma study

The maximum study for a Postgraduate Diploma is six major semesters.

The student must pass the project subject with an average of no less than (B).

Article (16): Registration conditions and procedures

The student must have a bachelor’s degree in industrial education with an average grade point C+ or at least a cumulative average of no less than 65%.

The College Council may, upon the proposal of the relevant department council, accept the registration of a student who holds a bachelor’s degree, with an average score not less than C+.

The college Council may approve the enrollment of a student who has obtained grade D in the bachelor’s degree or less than 65% for a master’s study after passing the preparatory study and its credit hours are 12 hours.

A student who obtains grade D in the bachelor’s degree and has passed a postgraduate diploma with grade C+ may be enrolled for a master’s degree in industrial education.

Article (17): Requirements for obtaining a master’s degree:

The student studies 18 credit hours, and the supervisor may choose the courses for the students.

The academic advisor submits the study plan for each student enrolled in the degree. The courses must include compulsory subjects in the basic engineering sciences, with no less than 3 credit hours and no more than 6 credit hours.
