Courses and hours of study

Study System

The study is based on credit hours, and the student registers in the semester in a number of courses with a maximum of (12) credit hours.

Study schedules

The academic year is divided into two semesters, and studies begin at all stages of postgraduate studies as follows:

The first semester: starts from the third Saturday of September and lasts for 15 weeks

The second semester: starts from the second Saturday of February and lasts for 15 weeks.

Credit hours

A credit hour is a unit of study to determine the measure of each course, and it is equivalent to a theoretical lecture of one hour per week or a practical lesson of two hours per week.

Courses

The courses are divided into four levels:

First: the fourth level

It includes the courses of:

The Rehabilitation study for the Diploma in Professional Studies

The supplementary study for the master’s degree in industrial education in the departments of electricity, mechanics, civil and architectural construction is only for students who have a bachelor’s degree in industrial education.

Second: the fifth level

It includes the courses of:

1 – Diploma in professional studies

2- Postgraduate Diploma

3- The Preliminary study for those who have obtained a grade less than good or a cumulative average of less than 65% in preparation for enrollment in a master’s degree in industrial education.

Third: Sixth level

It includes master’s degree courses and doctoral degree courses.

Fourth: Seventh level

It includes PhD courses

The scientific departments may develop any other courses according to the nature of the study, after being approved by the relevant scientific department council and approved by the studies committee at the college council.
